Server Listing Rules

At Tibia List, we do not accept servers that send us modified or exaggerated information about the number of players, server uptime, or player records.

In order to reflect the popularity of a server in the best possible way and enable it to be compared with other ones by users of the Tibia List service, the returned number of players ("online" attribute returned by "status protocol") must comply with the following guidelines. For the purposes of the rules/service, we call this value "active players".

It is forbidden to include in the number of active players:

  • Characters of players who closed the game client (e.g., quit on a so-called x-log on non-logout zone)
  • More than 4 characters from one IP address
  • Characters that have not performed any action in the last 15 minutes

It is forbidden to add:

  • So-called login servers counting the number of players from several game worlds
  • Banned servers before the end of the penalty (e.g., after changing the IP address)

Penalties:

Servers that do not comply with the rules of the service will be banned for a period of 30 to 90 days. If sophisticated methods of falsifying the real number of active players are detected, servers/persons will be banned for up to 3 years. In the event of multiple bans, we reserve the right to extend the ban period, including a permanent ban for a person/server.
